What

We got together and listened to Zaireeka, an album by The Flaming Lips whose tracks are split onto four discs that we had to play simultaneously. We also collaborated on four giant canvases that turned out beautifully. There was food, drink, visuals, and a good time was had by all.

Asterisk (1939 Young St., Honolulu)

Who

It was open to all, and we had a great group of people.

The New Melody Collective is a group of good people interested in organizing and attending interesting music- and other art-related events in Honolulu. It's also the name of this website, where we make plans.
